H8 txt msgs?

There's a bit of a debate going on at the moment regarding our use of the English language. Some argue that children spend so much time using textspeak - either via text messages, Facebook and Twitter, etc., that they have no real grasp of vocabulary and punctuation. My daughter once brought home a piece of written work on which her teacher had written 'Excellent'. …

Getting to Know… Marcelle Dubé

So here it is. This is my new weekly spot where I get to be nosy and pry into writers' lives.

Rolling out the red carpet for Linda Acaster

Coming to this blog on Friday 21st March will be a series of "Getting to Know You" interviews with writers. Our intrepid authors will be answering questions about what makes them tick - and they'll also (hopefully) be giving us great book recommendations.

Meanwhile, I'm busy dusting off the red carpet for a good friend and hugely talented writer.

On Friday 14th March Linda Acaster will be talking about handling Crime elements in a non-Crime book, and featuring her new title
