Yesterday was World Book Day and I forgot all about it until late in the day. Probably because I was too busy, um, getting a book ready to send to my editor…
Did you do anything for this special day? Lots of events were held across the UK I gather. Teachers dressed up as literary characters, books were given away, authors read from their work - and the day passed me by.
I was busy on my own book though and I read someone else's book for an hour or so. Does that count?
Anyway, lovely people, I'm after recommendations. What are you reading right now? Is it good, bad or indifferent? Is there anything I simply must read? Have you found any new favourite authors recently? I'm curious.
