Things I've learned this week

They say you learn something new every day. Is that true? I think it probably is. Here are a few things I've learned this week.

1/. Facebook can make me smile:

2/. Walking on packed ice covered in snow is easier for humans than dogs.

3/. Garden birds, especially robins, are pigs when it comes to cheese.

4/. Talking of pigs … there are 86 calories in a McVitie’s dark chocolate digestive biscuit. So if you have four with your morning cuppa and another four with your afternoon cuppa, you'll need to spend the rest of the day eating lettuce.

5/. I need around 37.5 hours in each day to cope with my To Do List.

6/. Failure can be extremely profitable. One of the worst England national football team managers ever (in my very humble opinion) quits his £6million per annum job and receives a £1.5m pay-off. Welcome to Facebook!

7/. Dead Calm has a release date, both as an individual novella and as part of a special Carina Press anniversary anthology, of June 4th. Woo hoo! (Which means I'd better finish the second round of edits…)

So that's me. What have you learned this week?

Have a great weekend, all!
