Signing a contract

Happy Friday, everyone!

What seems like ages ago, I told you had some exciting news to share 'soon'. Yes, well, there was a delay because a small change was being made to the Carina Press contracts. Typical, yes? Finally, it's official. I've just put pen to paper and signed the contract for another three (yes, three!) Dylan Scott mysteries. Provisional titles are Deadly Shadows, Fatal Vengeance and Dead Simple. So exciting. It's great for an author to know what she's doing until May 2014, and wonderful to know that the publisher has enough faith in the series to want more. Colour me very happy indeed!

I'm still sniffing and coughing but I don't feel quite so near death as I did so I must be on the mend. The magic of Lemsip and alcohol, eh?

Whilst trawling the net the other day, I saw this interesting piece on Ian Rankin. I always assumed he was born cool, composed and confident but apparently not. It's well worth a read - and gives hope to us all.

As I've just signed a contract for three more books, I'd better get some words written, hadn't I?

What about you? Any exciting news to share?

Have a great weekend!
