I fell in love...

I forgot to mention that, during my fortnight away from the desk, I fell in love. With this handsome chap.

Isn't he gorgeous? We all visited the Wild Boar Park, near Chipping, Lancashire, which I highly recommend, especially if you're entertaining young children. As well as the animals - wild boar, llamas, wallabies, deer, etc. - there are great things for kids like the play park, barrel rides and chick stroking. This meerkat really stole my heart though. Adorable.

Instead of admiring pictures of meerkats, I should be working on edits today. Yes, I have line edits for Silent Witness which releases in March.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Silent's publication day yesterday. I'm not sure what the best part was but one highlight was checking my publisher's website and seeing the beautiful banner ad for Dead Silent and Presumed Dead. It's just gorgeous. (You can see it here.)

The fun's not over yet because I'm out and about today. You can find me all over the place:

I'm talking about why we love a good mystery on the Manic Readers site

Covers is the topic on romantic suspense author Toni Anderson's blog

I'm talking about what I love most about being a writer on Kate Hardy's blog

Phew. I get about, don't I? Please stop by and say hello if you get chance. I'd hate to think I was talking to myself.

And now, I really should take a look at those edits. What's that you're saying? Oh, all right. Just a couple...
