Following on...

I know (thanks for the emails!) that a lot of you have been unable to follow this new blog of mine. I think - hope - I've solved this problem. Yes, folks, I now have a 'Followers' button. It's just there, see? On the right? Whether it actually works, of course, is an entirely different matter. I seem to have followed myself okay but that's not particular useful or clever, is it? If you'd like to follow, please try it out. If you have problems, please let me know via the 'Contact' tab at the top of this page. Thanks!

While on the subject of gratitude, thank you to all the newsletter subscribers who entered the competition to win a digital copy of Dead Silent. All winners will be notified within the next 24 hours. (If you'd like to subscribe to my newsletter and gain access to subscriber only competitions, you can do so by hitting the Newsletter tab at the top of this page.)

I'm still out and about on my blog tour. Today, I'm a guest in The Plotting Shed. Yes, the lovely Debs Carr and gorgeous Grumps are hosting me and I'm talking about why I'm a member of The Romantic Novelists' Association. You can find me here.

I'm also being made very welcome by Nell Dixon (if you haven't read her book Animal Instincts, you should - one of my all-time favourites) and I'm telling you who I'd like at my dinner table. You can find that here.

So the weekend approaches. I'm getting somewhat nervous about tomorrow's football. Burnley FC have had something of a stuttering (okay, very bad) start to the season and tomorrow they take on Derby County FC who, so far, haven't dropped a single point. So tomorrow will be more hope than expectation when it comes to the football. Other than that, I think I'm overdue some reading time. I'm about to finish Janni Nell's Allegra Fairweather: Paranormal Investigator (loving it). Next on my pile is Pauline Barclay's Sometimes It Happens which has been sitting on my iPad for months. After that, it will be Maureen Miller's Widow's Tale...

What about you? Do you have anything exciting planned for the weekend? I hope you have a good one!
