I seem to have been on one long holiday lately. And I'm off again. The downside is that no passports or bottles of sun lotion will be necessary. The upside is that I have family visiting from Orkney which is very exciting. I won't be near the computer though so, if you email me, please bear with me. I'll get to you eventually.
It's just dawned on me that the release of Dying Art is only 3 weeks away. All very exciting, but it means the reviews will soon be coming in. I may have to resort to alcohol to calm my nerves (always a good excuse).
I'll be visiting Not Your Usual Suspects on 29 October talking about how much I love (or not) all the promotional work involved for writers these days. It would be good to see you there if you get a moment.
Right, I'm away to clean the house, sort out the beds, check the food cupboards, tie the puppy to the ceiling and generally prepare for visitors. I'll be back sometime next week. Meanwhile, let me know what you're up to. Anything exciting?
