At last

You’d be forgiven for thinking I’ve dropped off the planet. I’ve been busy reminding myself just how exhausting puppies are. It’s been so long since I’ve had one, I’ve forgotten. Take it from me, they are utterly, completely, mind-numbingly exhausting. Great fun though.

Workwise, I’ve done very little. Puppy sleeps, I catch my breath, puppy wakes and it starts all over again. I have sent ideas for the next three Dylan Scott novels to my editor to see what she thinks. (Haven’t mentioned that I may not have time to actually write them…) Other than that, I’ve done nothing productive. Perhaps next week will be better.

I have, however, seen the draft cover for DYING ART, releasing in November, and it's fantastic. I really, really, really love this cover. I'll share as soon as I get the final copy. Watch this space!

Before I forget – and how could I? – the fab romance author, Kate Hardy, is celebrating the release of her 50th book by having a huge blog party. Great authors are dropping by and there are giveaways. Do nip over there and congratulate her when you get a minute.

Tomorrow sees the start of the football season. Wahey! I’ve been counting the minutes and can’t wait to get to Turf Moor tomorrow when Owen (Judas) Coyle brings his not so mighty Bolton to town. Come on, you Clarets!

That’s my weekend sorted. What do you have planned? Anything exciting?
