An admin day

I sent the proposal for book #4 in the Dylan Scott series to my editor yesterday so today, instead of chewing my fingernails as I start the long wait for news, I'm having an admin day.

As my house is being taken over by spiders - big spiders - I should really give the place a thorough clean. First though, I'm sorting out my office. I have books and papers spread all over my desk so that I'm struggling to find space for my keyboard (or my coffee mug). I have a filing tray full of, um, filing. You know how easy it is to shove something in a tray and tell yourself you'll deal with it later? Well, I've been doing that for months. I also need to sort out my computer and get rid of notes and old drafts of books that were published years ago.

By the end of the day, my office will be all shiny and organised. Well, that's the plan.

It's hubby's birthday today so I shall be helping him celebrate that later. We actually started the celebrations early. As most of you know, we're season ticket holders at Turf Moor and last night we watched Burnley beat Nottingham Forest 5-1. Yes, 5-1! On Nick's birthday last year, we watched them beat Hull 4-0. I really think he should have a birthday more often, don't you?

So all's well at Chez Wells. How's your week going? Are you having a good one?
